My Top 7 Mobile Games For Non Gamers

These are my favorite and most played games on my phone. This post is in no particular order and all games are free to play although there may be in-app purchases available.

Sunshine Days

This game is an adorable lifestyle game. Your character has struggled through renting in the big city and has now settled down for a cozy life in a small town. You will complete small favors for other townsfolk building relationships and getting new customization options for you and your home. The townsfolk in this game are adorable animals with lots of depth and personality. To round off your happy little town you are also able to garden and fish (every good RPG has a fishing mini game). You are also able to communicate with other players online though conversations seem to be limited. Sunshine Days is still in development and can be fairly glitchy at times and the storyline seems to be incomplete. For a free incomplete mobile game this is the best RPG I have found with easy controls and a fast learning curve. Anyone can enjoy this adorable life simulator. One major perk of this game is that you will never watch ads to receive free items or money though there are regular in-app purchases.

Old Friends Dog Game

This creature collection game focuses around a senior dog shelter. Your character has founded a dog shelter fulfilling a lifelong dream. As you progress in your shelter's success you receive new dogs who come to live at your sanctuary. Each dog has an in depth personality and story line based on a real shelter pup that you can read about. The point of this game is to care for your dogs and receive their love which in tern moves the story along. You also have a second goal for your shelter which is to gain sponsors who help fund your dogs' happy retirement. In this game you are able to participate in "streams" in which you play with the dogs to either level up or receive donations. As well you are able to care for your dogs to unlock their stories and more puppies. I have found no glitches in this game and have enjoyed all of the gameplay to date. This game is easy to learn and has a clear storyline that has me addicted. There are in-app purchases available for this game along with the option to watch ads for exclusive items, though if you refuse to watch ads the game is still easily playable.

Adorable Home

In this game you and your partner have recently moved into your new forever home though it's looking a little drab and needs you to decorate it. In this game you are able to customize your character and partner along with your home. Your character acts as the homemaker and receives love by taking care of your cats and making your partner fun lunches for work. The love can be traded for new adorable items, rooms and pets. This game includes a few mini games in which you care for your cat. If you fail these mini games you are forced to watch an ad to continue. I am not a fan of the required ads although it is a free game so it is understandable. After some time and saving you are able to unlock a farm and cook to make more types of lunches for your loved one, which happened to be my favorite part of the game. Although this game is definitely more ad based then the previous two it was still fun with an adorable art style.

Block! Hexa

This game is solely a puzzle game that I find addicting. This game is able to be played without wifi and is perfect for any long wait. It has an extremely simple basis of fitting all the hexagons into the shape. You don't win anything and ads along with in-app purchases are only for hints. I have been playing this game for quite a while and have been stumped a few times but still love playing.

Wordscapes

I think everyone has either seen ads or heard of this game at some point yet it is surprisingly fun. I tend to find games that are in a lot of ads to be ad based themselves yet this game is anything but. It can be played without wifi and I will often go back and forth between playing this game and Block! Hexa when I get stuck on a puzzle. This is also a puzzle game where you try and find words in a letter scramble. Money and ads are also used for buying hints, though you don't need to spend anything for this game to be enjoyable. I have horrible spelling and enjoy this game. Why not give it a try?

KleptoCats

For the last of my no wifi required games I give you the only idle game on this list. I am not normally a fan of idle games yet this one has some good mini games making it playable for my short attention span. It is a creature and item collection game where you care for little cats who in turn bring you little items to fill your home. Although with each time you send out your cat it takes longer to return you can instantly summon it by spending 100 coins. Coins can be earned by watching ads or paying money, but also by playing the mini games. This game has an adorable design and concept that sucked me in.

The Secret of Cat Island

This adorable game is about treasure seeking cats. After two cats are stranded on an island full of treasure, your goal is to build a village for them to survive and discover the mystery of the island. This game runs on both "energy" and coins because of which there are lots of options for watching ads or in-app purchases though I have never needed to use them. This game has adorable animation which shows most in the adorable cats you can unlock as you explore. If you want an addicting game to play for hours try it out.
